I am a Senior Research Analyst at the University of Chicago Consortium on School Research, housed within the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. Previously, I was a Research Assistant Professor at Boston University Wheelock College of Education and Human Development.
My overarching goal is to understand and address inequality in opportunities and to foster human potential. My current research studies teacher quality and human decision-making, with a focus on parents.
I have a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, where I also earned a master’s in Public Policy. I have a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).
I am originally from Buenaventura, Colombia.
Research interests: Labor Economics, Economics of Education, Behavioral Economics.
